SONDAR+ activities provides bestpractice in citizen science, alliance and awareness raising for municipalities, farmers, enterprises and schools to protect soil and restore biodiversity. It builds on an existing strategic partnership within ARGE Donauländer of 4 former ETC SONDAR projects with 17 CZ-SK-HU-AT institutions. SONDAR+ is in line with European and regional strategies to strengthen SUSTAINABLE OPERATIONS between science, local and regional alliances, schools, vulnerable groups and the public to the Danube countries.


Decision regarding "soil protection & sustainable land use" of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Working Community of the Danube Regions, 30.10.2015
1. to increase collaboration with existing networks, such as SONDAR Soil Strategy Network in the Danube Region and ELSA European Land and Soil Alliance to disseminate best-practice examples and experiences in the Danube region by annual meetings.
2. to provide the results from the lead projects "Humus management and regional production of organic fertilizers" and "raw-materials production for the processing sector" as well as the projects "Soil map - soil information" and "erosion prevention with soil protection systems."
3. At a European level, the idea is . the integration and proliferation of current and future projects in the context of the EU Strategy for the Danube region and Danube Transnational.
