Large-sized fruit: 'Merzig' - up to 2 m, 'Nittel' - up to 2.5 m tall, 'Godenhaus' - Rich in yield - up to 4 m tall, 'Reto' - mild fragrance, ripens in September. For fruit yield plant two varieties. Frost resistant up to -34 °C.



Growth habit and height:

Loosely branched, thorny shrubs, with offshoots, up to 6 m.



Location

Sun, not particular - grows in various types of soil.



Uses

Mature fruits from October. For jam, sweet-sour preserves, edible oil from seeds.
