Possible within the hybrid event, after pre-registration!

From data stock, monitoring surveys, experience and YOUR expert knowledge the "Team Implementation Plan/TBK" under the leadership of Dr. Harald Kutzenberger developed the Local Implementation Plan AT. This plan draws 2 scenarios for the future development of the national park areas close to the city: one with and one without arable use of the still existing organic farmland, considered from an ecological as well as economic point of view and in the context of the entire administrative area of the City of Vienna in the Danube Floodplain National Park.

Another project component is the landscaping "Fields of Diversity" in the New Lobau.

We cordially invite you to reflect together on the results of the workshop process!

Please register for the event and the excursion until 21.05.2021 at

Project/Process Objective in Brief: In the transboundary project AgriNatur AT-HU the importance of organic agriculture for species conservation and biodiversity in Natura 2000 protected areas is investigated. The aim of the joint work is to develop a sustainable AgriNatur strategy that promotes synergies between nature conservation and organic farming. Project areas are the Viennese part of the Danube Floodplain National Park in Austria and the Moson Plain in Hungary. Five expert workshops form the central framework for developing the AgriNatur strategy by autumn 2021 - based on current project research results from monitoring, empirical surveys and field trials as well as suitable basic data. Experts from research, nature conservation, agriculture and administration will play a central role, supported by ecological and economic planning teams..
