P. Schnell (Freelance researcher, Independent research coach in Vienna and Salzburg): In search of sustaining relationships between city and countryside as well as house and garden from a Swiss perspective.
Dr. Philipp Schnell is an urban researcher and teaches academic writing and research design at QualyMed Private University for Health Professions in Vienna. He received his PhD in Sociology and Organization Studies from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration on the topic of spatial theoretical approaches in organizational research. In numerous qualitative and art-based research projects, he approaches everyday urban living spaces from a multidisciplinary perspective. In particular, he explores the potentials of different research methods and media for urban and spatial research. Current research projects focus on the role of artistic interventions in the transformation of urban spaces as well as on the usefulness of graphic methods for the exploration of city and space.
11:30 - 12:30
N. Röhrer (cultural and social anthropologist): "Milk crisis! An ethnographic research on the benefits of crisis assertion using the example of IG Milk."
Nicola Röhrer, M.A., M.A. studied cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna. In Röhrer's master's thesis, Röhrer addressed the question of what makes a crisis a crisis from an anthropological perspective and examined this using the Austrian dairy industry as an example. Röhrer's passion for complex interrelationships, questions of social justice and solution orientation led Röhrer, after a semester as co-lecturer at the University of Vienna, to the IT service provider and digitalization partner Tietoevry, where Röhrer supports teams in the many dimensions of successful collaboration as an Agile Coach and Business Anthropologist.
We would be very pleased to have your participation.
Yours sincerely, on behalf of the Working Group for Rural Social Research
Dr. Georg Wiesinger
