Seminar for Educators "Painting with the Colours of the Earth”

The so-called „soil bags", a recycling product from the Soil Art Calendar, are produced with immediate effect by the woman project Fairly Rooted at Neidling-Afing within the scope of social production. Dr. Erwin Szlezak from the Department of Rural Development of the Lower Austrian Government personally collected the first gift bags, and was delighted with the work of the female participants in the Fairly Rooted project.

Fairly Rooted offers a place of work with fair conditions to long-term unemployed women, and it furthers the best-possible preparation for the working world and long-term employment.

"The folding of gift bags requires much patience, and mostly accuracy, thus soil bags are exactly the right work for our women workers! On account of their admiration of the soil colour paintings in the Soil Art Calendar this work is performed with joy by our women", states Angela Stradinger, the division manager.
