Seminar for educators „Painting with the Colours of the Earth“ at Neunkirchen

On May 7, 2014, an introductory seminar for male and female educators and interested persons took place at the new Neunkirchen media secondary school on the topic of "Painting with the Colours of the Earth", where Prof. Irena Racek taught the project background as well as painting techniques and instructions for alternative binding agents in an interactive workshop. The participants were allowed to implement the knowledge acquired into practice immediately, and many interesting pieces of art painted with soil colours have come into existence.
The Waste Association AWV Neunkirchen has entered the European Land and Soil Alliance (ELSA) in November 2013 upon activites of the SONDAR HU-AT project (Soil Strategy Network in the Danube Region), subsidized by the European Union. This workshop has been implemented as the first initiative of this cooperation, in order to strengthen awareness of soil in this region, and to raise the interest of schools in "Painting with the Colours of the Earth".
We hope all educators enjoy their pupils „Painting with the Colours of the Earth", and are looking forward to good cooperation with the AWV Neunkirchen.
