Invitation to the Humus Introductory Seminars

The introductory seminar is dedicated to the importance of humus for soil fertility and climate protection. The humus balance with the site-adapted humus balance method is presented by an example. The second focus of the seminar will discuss the pros and cons of different humus-building measures such as crop rotation, crop residue management, green manure and compost, so you can make the best decisions for your farm.

For the participants of the introductory seminar there will be the
Humus balance computing seminar
In the calculation seminar, you will learn in small groups to use the humus balance program to calculate humus balance sheets for your own business. You will learn how to extract the soil data for humus balancing from eBOD, the electronic soil map, and what information eBOD still has that you can use for your farm. Following the calculation seminar, you will receive the humus balance program for your personal use.
