Soil is an indispensable and irreplaceable resource both as a source of production and as a regulator of the environment - and this must be protected! One of the biggest challenges facing agriculture in the 21st century will be adaptation to climate change.

In Schrattenthal, a three-dimensional monument made of stainless steel and scrap iron is revealed. This sculpture stands on the B35 and should draw attention to the fact that each individual can contribute to the delay of the climate change. In the built-in touchscreen you can inform yourself about meteorological and agricultural data etc.
Another highlight: The Schüttkasten in the castle of Schrüttenthal has an exhibition of old agricultural tools and photos, accompanied by a large presentation by the most renowned representatives of high-tech farming on the first floor. Lectures by Univ. Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Andreas Gronauer (BOKU) and a lecturer of the HBLA Klosterneuburg are the highlights of this event. Future, resource-saving smart farming is brought closer to us!
In addition, workshops for painting with pigments (Bodenbündnis) are held throughout the day.
