On January 22nd and 23rd, 2018, the humus days will be held for the 12th time in Kaindorf. Around two dozen experts from the entire German-speaking world will pass on their latest knowledge about composting and humus composition in a practice-oriented way. Altogether, 400 conference participants from 6 nations are expected on both days, who will as well exchange valuable experiences with each other.

On Monday, January 22nd, the focus of the "Compost Day" will be on the growing interest in composting and the quality awareness that comes with it, covering the topics "contaminant content", "neophytes", "quality enhancement" and "sewage sludge". addressed by well-known experts and presented solutions.

On Tuesday, January 23, the "Humus-Fachtag" will answer very specific questions: How can humus build in practice with and without compost? What significance does the right selection of green manure plants have? Can a direct sowing system work in our climate region? Under what conditions is it successful?
