Research and development for a healthy planet
As part of the information campaign "Join our Community: Horizon Europe startet!", the FFG - Austrian Research Foundation - presents the funding opportunities of the new Horizon Europe research framework programme with a programme lasting several weeks.
The week from 15th to 19th February 2021 is themed "Research and Development for a Healthy Planet".
You can expect a comprehensive overview of European funding opportunities around the Horizon Europe "Cluster 6 - Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment", whose focal points locate thematically at the heart of the "European Green Deal". Both technical and social innovations promoted.
The events aimed at companies, universities, research institutions, associations and anyone who contributes to a healthy planet, especially in the areas of:
- Biodiversity and natural resources,
- Sustainable Food Systems,
- Bio-based innovation systems in the EU bio-economy and circular economy
- Environmental Monitoring
- Agriculture, forestry and rural areas,
- Seas, oceans and inland waters.
What do we offer you on the individual days of this week?
16th February 2021, 09:30 - 12:00 a.m.
"Understanding Cluster 6 - Relevant knowledge in a nutshell".
We will inform you about the thematic priorities, important political background information, the new missions on soil health and water as well as the first calls for proposals in "Cluster 6".
18th February 2021, 09:30 - 11:30 a.m.
"Cluster 6 Partnerships - Special on Circular Bio-based Europe and Biodiversity".
We will give you insights into the future partnerships around this cluster, with a focus on the new partnerships in the field of bio-based circular economy as well as in the field of biodiversity.
18 th February 2021, 13:00 - 17:00 p.m.
"Getting together the right people - networking in EIP-AGRI".
This afternoon will focus on networking between national and European Operational Groups in the framework of the European Innovation Partnership on Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI).
19 th February 2021, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

The FFG experts will be available live to answer your questions on this week's focal points.
