At the harvest festival on Heldenplatz, Austrian young farmers thanked for their harvest and at the same time presented the wide range of their daily work: the production of high quality food, the care of our unique cultural landscape, but also the preservation of tradition and popular culture. The Austrian Chamber of Agriculture offered several experience stations on the subject of "soil". Delicious treats could be tasted at 15 present "good farm" direct marketers.

The Austrian Chamber of Agriculture informs in the International Year of the Soil about the importance of fertile, living soils and offered several experience stations:
• "Our soil - look closely": Humus is the basis of soil fertility. Young and old were able to fish live soil animals directly from the humus and take a close look
• "Earth colors - painting with the colors of the earth": Great and small could create their own "earth art" with colors won from earth and under expert guidance
