Seminar for Educators "Painting with the Colours of the Earth”

On January 26, the first introductory seminar for educators with the topic of "Painting with the Colours of the Earth" took place as a preparation for the cross-border painting competition „Painting with the Colours of the Earth" in the Lower Austrian Provincial Museum, where the project background as well as painting techniques and instructions for alternative binding agents etc. were taught in an interactive workshop.

Together with soil colour artist Prof. Irena Racek, the male and female educators gained insight into the topic of „Painting with the Colours of the Earth", and were able to implement their acquired knowledge into practice immediately - some interesting pieces of art painted with soil colours have come into existence.

We wish all educators and their pupils much fun when painting and much success for the 2012 cross-border competition!

School girls and boys from Lower Austrian, Slovak and Hungarian educational institutions will take part in the competition. The project is subsidized by the European Union.
