'TSU LI' and 'EARLY SHU' (Probably Pyrus ussuriensis x Pyrus bretschneideri)

Varieties:

Pears native to China, rarely planted in our regions. The juicy fruits remain crispy when fully ripened. 'Tsu Li'  is resistant to  Gymnosporangium sabinae (pear rust) 'Early Shu' is insusceptible to it. Both are frost resistant up to -23°C.



Growth habit and height:

Small trees, up to 3 m tall.



Location

Sun, not particular, grows in various types of soil.



Uses

Fruits: Harvest end of September, can be stored until March. Consumption, preserve cut fruits.
