Varieties:

White mulberry (M. alba) can also bear black fruits. Good hybrid varieties: 'Collier', 'Capsrum'. Kagayamae-Mulberry: frost resistant up to -28 °C. Morus macroura: frost resistant up to -34 °C. Varieties: 'Mojo Berry', 'Pakistan'.



Growth habit and height:

Tree or large shrub, depending on variety 2 - 18 m tall.



Location

Sun, not particular - grow in various types of soil.



Uses

3 - 10 cm long fruits - end of June to August. Fresh consumption, juice, jam, cake topping.
